Over the past 40 years, Shenzhen University, since its establishment, has boldly ventured and innovated, carrying the historical mission of reform and opening up. It has made unique contributions to the development of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the nation as a whole. Over the past four decades, Shenzhen University has played a significant role in the construction of Shenzhen City and the cultivation of talents for enterprises. In anticipation of the 40th anniversary celebration themed "Three Autonomies, Four Decades, Striving for Excellence", the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering launched an alumni enterprise visit, marking the beginning of the anniversary celebration activities.

On the afternoon of March 20th, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Mr. Lin Jilin, Dr. Lei Lei, Associate Director of the Department of Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, Ms. Lin Na, Graduate Student Counselor, and Mr. Li Kaixin and Mr. Huang Weibiao, counselors, visited Shenzhen TuoRi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. They discussed topics such as student employment, party building, and cooperation between the university and enterprises. Chairman of TuoRi New Energy, Mr. Chen Wukui, Vice Chairman Ms. Li Fenli, General Manager Mr. Yang Guoqiang, Vice General Manager Mr. Chen Jiahao, and Ms. Wen Yuqing participated in the event.

Mr. Chen Jiahao, Vice General Manager of TuoRi New Energy, warmly welcomed the visit of Mr. Lin Jilin and his delegation on behalf of TuoRi New Energy. He introduced the company's development history, personnel composition, business sectors, industrial layout, production base, and cooperation with academic and research partners, showcasing the unique advantages of the company in investing, developing, and operating various photovoltaic power stations. Mr. Chen Jiahao also highlighted the company's achievements, including being honored as "Outstanding New Energy Enterprise of Shenzhen", "International Contribution Award for Green Design", "Contribution Award for Ecological Construction", "Top Ten Socially Responsible Listed Companies in China", and "Most Influential EPC Enterprise".

Mr. Lin Jilin, Deputy Secretary of the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, briefed on the current situation of the school, including its development history, faculty strength, disciplinary status, research platforms, and major activities and achievements in recent years, emphasizing Shenzhen University's rigorous academic attitude and research style of "seeking truth and being pragmatic" and "down-to-earth". Dr. Lei Lei, Associate Director of the Department of Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, explained the faculty composition, program offerings, training characteristics, and the employment situation of graduates from the department. Ms. Lin Na, Graduate Student Counselor, introduced the cooperation between the school and enterprises in party building and shared details about current activities such as cooperation between industry and education, career workshops, and face-to-face recruitment by enterprises. Mr. Huang Weibiao briefed on the upcoming enterprise recruitment event on March 31st and sincerely invited TuoRi New Energy to participate. Mr. Li Kaixin elaborated on the arrangements for the 40th anniversary celebration of the school and the plans of the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering for the celebration.

During the meeting, both parties reached consensus on various aspects including party building, internship base construction, and talent recruitment.
