During the meeting, discussions revolved around four aspects of reform: "deepening education and teaching reform, strengthening scientific research organizational behavior, exploring human resources reform, and promoting resource supply reform." Attendees actively participated, pooling their thoughts and ideas to contribute towards achieving the overall goal of "building first-class disciplines, establishing first-class platforms, cultivating first-class teams, obtaining approval for first-class projects, producing first-class results, achieving first-class transformation, nurturing first-class talent, and forming first-class social services and social reputation," known as the "Eight First-Class" objectives.

Lin Bing, the Secretary of the College Party Committee, emphasized that the development of the college relies on the efforts of all teachers. He hoped that all teachers in the college would unite, help each other, and gather strength to earnestly implement the development tasks outlined in the school and college's "14th Five-Year Plan" from various perspectives and approaches, focusing on teaching and nurturing talents and delving into scientific exploration. The college leadership team should play a guiding role and improve the quality of planning. Through various means such as alumni associations and the college website, the social influence of the school and college should be enhanced.

In conclusion, Liu Yong, the Executive Dean, summarized that to achieve the goal of building "Eight First-Class" and completing the tasks outlined in the "14th Five-Year Plan," it is necessary to "have a high position, a clear situation, clear goals, and detailed methods." He stressed the importance of strictly adhering to the "six requirements," which include understanding one's own strengths and weaknesses, identifying gaps and problems, setting reasonable goals, addressing weaknesses effectively, implementing strong measures to address shortcomings, and showcasing distinctive features to achieve excellence. It is important to earnestly implement the "five methods," which involve combining scientific research with teaching research, team building with individual development, integrating science and education with industry and academia, linking performance incentives with basic tasks, and integrating basic research with applied research. The college will continue to deepen the "four major reforms" to vigorously promote the development of the college in a new direction.
