On March 21, 2025, Dean Chao Naipeng of the School of Communication, Executive Director Li Jianqiang of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing, Executive Vice Dean Liu Liwei and Vice Dean Wu Honglei of the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Department Head Cai Houzhi, Assistant Director Peng Xiaogang of the Big Data Laboratory, and Teacher Wang Tongchen from the School of Communication visited Guangdong Beijiang High School in Shaoguan. The delegation held a meeting and exchange session with the school leadership and shared recent admission updates and congratulatory messages for students. Guangdong Beijiang High School, ranked No.1 in Shaoguan and recognized as a key high school in Guangdong Province, had over 20 students admitted to Shenzhen University in 2024.

Following the meeting, Professors Chao Naipeng, Li Jianqiang, Liu Liwei, and Wang Tongchen delivered a passionate and informative presentation in the school’s lecture hall. They introduced the teaching strengths, talent cultivation models, career development prospects, campus life, and cultural atmosphere of the School of Communication, the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data, the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, and Shenzhen University as a whole. The lecture hall was packed, and the students responded with great enthusiasm.

This successful recruitment event not only deepened Beijiang students’ interest in Shenzhen University but also gave them a more comprehensive understanding of the university, further advancing the progress of SZU’s enrollment efforts.
