On March 5, 2026, Professor Liu Liwei, Executive Vice Dean of the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering at Shenzhen University, led a delegation including Yang Qiang from the School of Scientific Research and Development, Professor Liu Xiaoli, Associate Professor Li Guijun, and Associate Professor He Wenqi from the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering to Shenzhen Opto Tech Co., Ltd. for a special visit and exchange activity. The core staff of Opto Tech, including Hu Fei, warmly welcomed the delegation. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on technological research and development, talent cultivation, and industry-academia-research cooperation, jointly exploring new opportunities for collaborative development between universities and enterprises.

During the exchange session, Hu Fei provided a comprehensive presentation on the development history of Opto Tech, the core business layout, the direction of laser display technology research and development, and future development plans in emerging fields such as AR optical engines and automotive optics. He focused on sharing the company’s practical experience in technological innovation, product iteration, and industrial applications. Yang Qiang introduced Shenzhen University’s overall development strategy, the construction of its scientific research innovation system, industry-academia-research cooperation framework and achievements, features of talent cultivation, and the college’s policies in support of university-enterprise cooperation, showcasing the university’s comprehensive advantages in scientific research and its open cooperation philosophy. Professor Liu Liwei gave a detailed introduction to the research teams, key research platforms, academic construction features, multi-level talent development system, and core research achievements that the college has made in recent years.

Both sides focused on practical issues such as discussions on frontier technologies in the optoelectronic field, joint research projects, and the establishment of internship and training bases. They conducted precise matching on the specific directions and cooperation models of university-enterprise collaboration, clarified the key areas for future in-depth cooperation, and reached an initial consensus on collaboration.
