Goer Group Co., Ltd. Visit — Discussing School-Enterprise Collaboration in Talent Development and Technological Innovation

On the morning of March 18, 2026, a delegation from Goer Group Co., Ltd., led by Party Secretary Gao Xiaoguang and South China Platform General Manager Kang Chuanyi, visited the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering at Shenzhen University. The delegation was welcomed by the college’s Executive Vice Dean Liu Liwei, Vice Dean Luo Jingtian, Party Secretary Lin Na, Deputy Director of the Career Guidance Center Zhang Yiting, Director of the Department of Intelligent Perception Engineering Cai Houzhi, Deputy Director of the Department of Physics Chen Shuo, Deputy Director of the Department of Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering Wang Haoqiang, as well as the graduate counselor. The two sides held a discussion on new paths for school-enterprise cooperation and promoting the integration of industry and education. The meeting was chaired by Lin Na, Party Secretary of the college.

During the meeting, Liu Liwei first extended a warm welcome to the visitors from Goer Group. She then provided a detailed introduction to the college’s development, focusing on its comprehensive talent cultivation system from undergraduate to doctoral levels, the construction of research teams, faculty strength, and notable achievements in research innovation and talent development. She highlighted the college’s professional training advantages in optics and intelligent perception, emphasizing the strong alignment between the college’s academic fields and Goer Group’s business areas.

Next, Gao Xiaoguang, Party Secretary of Goer Group, introduced the company’s development history and current positive outlook. He stated that Goer Group has a strong presence in the precision components and intelligent acoustic systems sectors, with key products such as microphones, speakers, and AI smart glasses. The company possesses industry-leading technological advantages in acoustics and optics. Gao further elaborated on the company’s new development strategy of “multi-field coordinated innovation,” its current layout in South China, and future plans. He emphasized that school-enterprise cooperation is crucial for talent development and technological upgrades, and expressed hope for deepened collaboration with the college in areas such as internships, joint talent training, and technological cooperation.

During the discussion session, both sides explored the details of cooperation and reached broad consensus. Gao Xiaoguang mentioned that the company’s talent recruitment focus is gradually shifting to South China, and the company is in urgent need of high-quality professional talent from the college. Sun Deyuan, HR Director of the South China platform, suggested enhancing school-enterprise interaction by organizing on-campus lectures, academic competitions, and other activities to establish a regular communication bridge.

Luo Jingtian noted that the college’s professional training aligns well with the company’s job requirements, and future deep cooperation could include the cultivation of outstanding engineers and the establishment of postdoctoral training bases. Cai Houzhi highlighted that the intelligent perception major emphasizes practical teaching and aims to provide students with hands-on laboratory experience, strengthening their professional foundation. Vice Directors Chen Shuo and Wang Haoqiang further emphasized the advantages of diverse student development, academic competition strengths, and research alignment, suggesting strengthened technical exchanges, joint research projects, and targeted talent cultivation to leverage the college’s students’ solid foundation in mathematics and physics.

This meeting further bridged the gap between the college and the company, clarified the direction of future cooperation, and laid a solid foundation for deepening the integration of industry and education, sharing resources, and jointly cultivating high-quality technical talent.
