On April 16, the award ceremony of the LBTEK Scholarship of the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Shenzhen University, was held in Conference Room 1421 of Zhiyuan Building. Attendees included Mo Zhong, Marketing Director, Hu Xi, Human Resources Director, Tong Manzhu, Deputy Marketing Director, Zhang Haifei, South China Regional Sales Supervisor from Shenzhen Lubon Optical Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as LBTEK), Lin Bing, Party Secretary of the College, Liu Liwei, Executive Vice Dean, Li Kaixin, student counselor, as well as 12 scholarship recipients.

In his address, Mo Zhong briefly introduced the corporate development and mission of LBTEK, and shared the company’s exploration and practice in university-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation. He noted that LBTEK has long been committed to supporting students on their academic journey. He hoped the scholarship would inspire students to engage in dedicated research and strive for breakthroughs in the field of optics. He further elaborated on the original intention of jointly setting up the scholarship by the enterprise and the college: it is not only a form of material support, but also an important bond for both sides to foster high-caliber talents with innovative thinking and practical capabilities. He remarked that the LBTEK Scholarship represents both recognition and expectation for the recipients. He encouraged the students to cherish the honor, stay grounded, pursue continuous breakthroughs in future studies and scientific research, give back to society, and contribute to the advancement and application of optical technologies.

Fan Yu, a doctoral student, and Zhang Jiahao, an undergraduate student, delivered speeches successively as representatives of the awardees. Fan Yu first extended his gratitude to the college faculty for their meticulous guidance and to LBTEK for its generous support. He shared his practical experience with LBTEK’s products in scientific research, speaking highly of their premium quality and cost performance. He also mentioned that high-quality optoelectronics articles released on LBTEK’s official WeChat public account had brought him considerable inspiration and insights. He vowed to cherish the honor and press ahead steadily along the path of scientific research. Zhang Jiahao also expressed sincere thanks to the College and LBTEK. He stated that the scholarship meant not only financial support but also spiritual encouragement for him. He pledged to live up to the College’s expectations and the enterprise’s trust, engage in professional learning with greater enthusiasm, improve his comprehensive competence, and strive to make contributions to the optoelectronics industry in the future.


Liu Liwei and Mo Zhong jointly presented honorary certificates to the award-winning students and took a group photo to mark the memorable occasion. To acknowledge LBTEK’s strong support for the development of optical education at the college, Liu Liwei presented a custom souvenir to the company on behalf of the college, witnessing the profound partnership and shared development vision between the two sides.


Finally, Lin Bing delivered a closing speech, expressing heartfelt thanks to LBTEK for its long-term care and support for the growth of students in physics and optoelectronics. He specially mentioned that LBTEK had recently sponsored the college faculty basketball tournament, a vivid reflection of the company’s consistent dedication to caring for the college’s teachers and students. He pointed out that the LBTEK Scholarship provides not only material aid but also powerful spiritual motivation for students. He congratulated all recipients and encouraged them to turn the honor into driving force for self-improvement and continuous breakthroughs in their future study and research. Looking ahead, Lin Bing hoped that the college and LBTEK would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in talent training, scientific research and achievement transformation, and jointly elevate university-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation to a higher level.
