Part One: Introduction to OAE Publishing Inc.

About OAE Publishing Inc.:

OAE Publishing Inc. (OAE), established in Los Angeles, USA in 2015, is a multidisciplinary, open-access international academic publishing company. It is dedicated to the mission of “disseminating scientific research and promoting scientific innovation” through the publication of high-quality academic materials. Over the years, OAE has developed into a full-service publishing company, accumulating extensive experience in all aspects of the publishing process, including journal topic planning, editorial board formation and management, content exploration, peer review, language editing, formatting, production, and marketing. The company has also independently developed a digital publishing platform and manuscript submission system with proprietary intellectual property, enabling it to provide end-to-end publishing support for third-party organizations.

Speaker: Hai Di DING, Publishing Representative of OAE

Hai Di joined OAE in 2017, bringing 7 years of experience as a journal editor and 5 years of experience in journal management. He has mentored several editorial staff across various journals. In 2021, he began the work of launching new journals under OAE, successfully founding five journals, which have been gradually indexed by PubMed Central, Scopus, and Web of Science (ESCI). He is currently responsible for journal branding, expert relations, and new journal launches at OAE.

Part Two: Introduction to the Journal “Microstructures”

Microstructures(OnlineISSN:2770-2995,https://www.oaepublish.com/microstructures) is a gold open-access, rigorously peer-reviewed international academic journal launched by OAE Publishing in 2021. It is now indexed by important databases, including ESCI, Scopus, CAS, Dimensions, and Lens. The journal covers a broad range of topics from the micro to atomic scales, including the design, fabrication, modeling, characterization, testing, and evaluation of materials for end-user applications. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, metals and alloys, ceramics, polymers, composites, crystals, glasses, biomaterials, interfaces, and nanomaterials.

The founding editor-in-chief of Microstructures is Professor Shujun Zhang from the University of Wollongong, Australia. The executive editor-in-chief is Professor Xiaozhou Liao from the University of Sydney, Australia, and Professor Jun Chen from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (currently the Vice President of Hainan University). The journal aims to become a leading authority in the field of microstructures. The journal is expected to achieve its first impact factor (target IF > 8) by June 2025.

Speaker: Yuanyuan DING, Managing Editor of Microstructures

Yuanyuan joined OAE Publishing in 2021 and assisted in launching the journal Microstructures. In just three years, it has been indexed by CAS, Scopus, and Web of Science (ESCI), with an expected first IF of 8-10. She is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of Microstructures, including maintaining the editorial board, managing relationships with authors and readers, and promoting academic conferences.
