To provide students with more opportunities for international education, the college actively explores and develops joint educational programs. Based on the principle of equality and mutual benefit, the college has reached a cooperation agreement with Umeå University in Sweden for a “3+1 Tuition-Free Dual Bachelor’s Degree” program. Students will complete three years of their major courses at Shenzhen University, and in the fourth year, they will be registered as formal students at Umeå University, where they will receive English training and study physics (including their graduation project). After completing all required courses and credits over four years, students will be eligible to receive both a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Umeå University and a Bachelor’s degree from Shenzhen University.

Umeå University, established in 1965, is located in Umeå, the capital of Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. It is the fifth oldest comprehensive research university in Sweden and has consistently ranked first in student satisfaction among all Swedish universities for several years.
