In terms of international graduate training, the college has reached a cooperation agreement with the University of Wollongong, Australia, for the “Joint PhD Training Program.” This program is a collaborative effort between Shenzhen University and the University of Wollongong to jointly recruit and train full-time PhD students. The applicants are excellent bachelor’s or master’s degree graduates, and the program follows a dual-supervision model (with one supervisor from each university). The duration of the joint training is 3 to 4 years (1.5 to 2 years at Shenzhen University and 1.5 to 2 years at the University of Wollongong). Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a PhD degree from the University of Wollongong. During the program, tuition fees are fully waived, and living allowances are provided. Outstanding students may be eligible to apply for the University of Wollongong’s academic scholarship (approximately AUD 27,000 per year).
